Local #117 is an Inside local and was chartered by the IBEW in 1901. Local #117’s jurisdiction includes all of McHenry County and the northern 9 townships of Kane County, all in the State of Illinois. Our classifications include Journeyman Inside Wireman, Residential Wireman and VDV Installer/Technician and Manufacturing. The Local’s general meeting is on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Union Hall.
